ShredAI: Shredding got smart
The Polystruder GR PRO doesn't just shred plastic by turning the motor, it does more than that!
It features an in-house built custom shredding algorithm called ShredAI, which reads data from its sensors to detect the material hardness. This allows it to determine the optimal shredding speed and adjust the motor speed and power limit in real-time, all automagically.
It also includes numerous safety features that automatically stop the shredding process if a jam is detected, no material is present, the bin is full, or the hopper door is open during operation to prevent accidents.
19 Stainless steel blades: Double side, double life!
The Polystruder GR PRO stands out as the only single shaft plastic shredder available with a unique double-sided cutting blade design, resulting in a blade life that is twice as long as that of other plastic shredders.
Additionally, the Polystruder GR PRO allows for faster shredding speeds of up to 5kg per hour, while also lowering maintenance costs and reducing overall downtime.
3 blade profiles: Optimized results
The unique blade profiles of the Polystruder GR PRO enable it to cut through thick materials, including solid 25mm plastic objects.
Three large blades shreds large plastic materials and decrease their overall dimensions for easier processing. Two medium blades aid in reducing both large and medium-sized plastic pieces to even smaller sizes.
Finally 14 small blades shreds through the remaining plastic efficiently and reduce the final piece size down to 3mm.

Thanks to its powerful 300W brushless DC motor with a 90:1 gear box, the Polystruder GR PRO can process any plastic without interruptions.
Moreover, it is equipped with built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, temperature limit, and jam detection features, which provide protection to the motor and gearbox, guarding against potential damage.

Equipped with 3mm thin blades, GR PRO is capable of shredding consistently every time.
After reprocessing the same material three times, the pellet size virtually identical in size with commercial virgin plastic pellets, which is around 4mm to 6mm dimensions. Moreover, no sifting is required. Each shredding round is also 6 times faster compared to first shredding round.

Large material volume, small footprint
The Polystruder GR PRO has a 3-liter hopper and a 4.5-liter collector bin capacity.
The hopper can accept plastic parts as large as 100mm for shredding. With a built-in optical material level sensor, it constantly checks if the collector bin is full.
Additionally, it is super compact, no bigger than a regular paper shredder. This makes it the perfect tool for laboratories, research institutions, schools, and even homes where every inch of space is important.
What is the average shredding speed of the Polystruder GR PRO?
The shredding speed of the Polystruder GR PRO depends on multiple factors, including the material type, thickness, size, motor speed, and more. However, when shredding objects that are 30mm in size, made of PLA with a 1.6mm wall thickness and 20% infill, the Polystruder GR PRO has a shredding capacity of approximately 3kg per hour.

What is the maximum size of plastic parts that the Polystruder GR PRO can shred?
The Polystruder GR PRO can shred plastic parts up to a length of 100mm.
Are there any limitations on the types of plastic that the Polystruder GR PRO can accept?
There are virtually no limitations on the types of plastic that the Polystruder GR PRO can accept. However, it's important to note that certain plastics with harsh additives, such as carbon fiber, wood, steel, and similar materials, can significantly reduce the lifespan of the shredding blades.
How much power does the Polystruder GR PRO consume?
The Polystruder GR PRO features a highly efficient brushless DC motor with a maximum power draw capacity of 300W. However, on average, it consumes only 150W per hour.
How does ShredAI work?
ShredAI is an in-house developed custom shredding algorithm that operates by continuously monitoring real-time data such as motor power consumption, blade direction changes, and temperature. Based on this information, ShredAI makes decisions to automatically adjust the motor speed, optimizing the shredding speed for optimal performance.
Is it possible to shred other materials other than plastic?
We designed the Polystruder GR PRO to efficiently shred plastic waste. We do not recommend to shred any other material besides plastic. Using it to shred other material besides plastic will void the device warrantly.
What is the average dimensions of shredded plastic parts?
Average shredded plastic pieces varies between 3mm to 5mm. There could be some instances where some thin parts that as big as 30mm can fall in between blade spacers inside the collector bin. However we recommend shredding at least 3 times to achieve the more granular material size.
What is the average noise level of the machine during normal operation?
We conducted several tests during the shredding process and found that the average noise level is 62 dBA, with a maximum of around 75 dBA. The test was conducted using a black PETG plastic object. Please note that the noise level is generated by the crushing sound during the shredding process and may vary greatly between different material types.
